1985

"AERO King", Mitsubishi Fuso's double-decker bus, was exhibited at a motor show in 1983 and was released in January of 1985.

1988

Development of expressway networks and the opening of the Seto Bridge prompted a boom for overnight express buses operating between major cities. The "AERO Queen M", a super high-decker bus with a rear single axle, was born in 1988.

After the second Oil Shock, Mitsubishi Fuso began developing large-size trucks that perfectly fit the low economic growth conditions of the time.

All F Series buses, such as the FT, FU, and FV, underwent a full model change for the first time in 10 years. "The Great" was released, and was the first large-size truck to be given a nickname.

1984

In February of 1984, the mid-size FK Series and large-size FM Series were fully renewed and released under the nickname "Fuso Fighter".

1986

In 1986, the new "Fighter Mignon" Series was born. It was named "Mignon" by combining the French word for "small-built and elegant" with the Japanese phrase "mini yon-ton-sha" or "mini 4-ton vehicle".
